Negative thoughts can cause so many problems, and disappointment can be a killer. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.

  2. Love it! We all have to have reminders to let the past go, quit looking back & move forward – into the future! Thanks for sharing!

Wow, Ramona, this was such an important read for me today. I started blogging and it has forced me to get out of my comfort zone, and I’m loving it because of that! Thank you for this post!

Your post is very thoughtful, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I actually practiced one of your suggestions this summer (with my fear of heights) and felt great afterwards. 🙂

I like all your statements especially the one that says that we are never too old to accomplish our goals.

I love this! It can be so easy to stay and wallow in “woe is me” and make up endless excuses. At the end of the day we are responsible for achieving our goals. I heard a quote awhile ago that really resonated with me and I think it applies here – “succeed despite, don’t fail because”.

    1. I am glad you liked it. Love the quote.

  7. Alright, I’ve got to take your advice right away because I’ve been disappointed with some outcomes lately. I’m going to snap out of it and use your tips to over come that.

    1. Yes, disappointments will happen. Luckily we have the opportunity to try again.

  8. This post hits home for me. I am going to take your suggestions and really try hard to just do it!

    1. Great! I glad it helped.

  9. I agree you can totally get immersed on that feeling of disappointment and not be able to snap out of it. We just have to learn to forgive ourselves and learn from our disappointments and mistakes. Turn them to a positive thing.

    1. It is important to never let our past disappointments prevent us from going after things we want.

Yes some great points. Only you can control your destiny, no one else. I avoid negative people and love and live my to the fullest.

    1. Good and supportive people will energize you when you feel like giving up.

First of all you nailed it!! This is so true in many lives and we know that in the struggles there maybe has been a person that has gone through the same process or struggles. Sometimes many have let their fears take a hold of them not knowing that there is something greater and positive that is going to happen. LOVE this part -Whatever you choose to do it is meant to revive that passion for life you once had. Hopefully, it will inspire you enough to get out of your comfort zone.

    1. Fear can prevent many people from living a fulfilling life. The truth is, every thing you want is on the other side of fear.

“Applying for a job that you don’t feel you are qualified for.”
I give this advice often and it is amazing how often it pans out! Women especially undervalue ourselves and tend to be wary of putting ourselves out there in this regard. Go for it!
    Great post!

  13. Yes. We must continue in spite of.

I use the strategy of doing something, anything, no matter how small, to forward my goal if I’m feeling less that inspired.

One of my mantras is #KeepGoing. I write it as a hashtag, because that seems to amplify it, or just helps reaffirm the mental note.

    1. Right. You should never give up on what you want.

  14. I think this is an amazing reminder for everyone! It’s important that we don’t let failure or disappointments push us to give up or to lose motivation when it comes to reaching our goals. Every situation is different after all.

    1. Yes, every situation is different. Just keep going, use those past disappointments as lessons learned and use them to bring you closer to achieving your goals.

Hi! This really hit hard. I’m trying to get a lifestyle/fashion/travel/etc blog started and I really needed that little kick to make me realize I CAN do it. You rock!

    1. Thanks, Nadia. I am glad this post helped in some way. Sometimes we need a little inspiration we started to doubt ourselves.
