I enjoyed reading your article. I relax when fishing, exercise and hanging out with special people.

    1. I am glad you enjoyed it, James. Fishing is one my favorite ways to relax.

I just realized yesterday how relaxing is gardening. Even planting a small plant.

    1. Hello Erika. Yes, gardening is a great way to relax.

Taking a walk as proven to the best for me, otherwise I like the other ways too.

    1. Hello John. I love going on walks. It is my favorite way to relax.

Some great suggestions. I would just add “spend time with your pets”. When it’s been a rather stressful day and the kids are in a mood, i find myself making an extra trip to the chicken coop, and just really doing nothing, but being with them.

    1. Thanks, Samantha. Spending time with your pets is another great way to relieve stress.

Thank you so much for the blog. My number one stress reliever is reading. But i will try baking never thought about 😂

    1. Your welcome, Lamees. Yes, baking can be a great way to relax.

I really enjoyed this. My go-to is a walk or doing laundry (I don’t know why the latter, folding clothes relaxes me for some reason, or at least gives me something else to focus on).

    1. I glad you enjoyed it, Robyn. Yes, I love going on walks to relax.

This is such a great post, I normally pamper myself by doing a mani and pedi but when I cant, I exercise or watch my fave show. Thanks for the reminder of what to do when you are super stress.

    1. Thank you, Juli. A nice mani-pedi can be a nice way to relax.

Great tips! I do almost all of these and they really do help. Meditation is a struggle for me too. Yoga actually helps with that.

Just lay down and live in the future that I want to build. Your tips are great way too. Whenever Im stressed out I will lay down and think happy moments and imagine the future.

What a timely article this is for me! I really do need to take that time to focus a little more on me and do some of these things that I have been putting off! I like to go for walks or runs, and would love to be able to do more yoga and start meditating! Do you have any tips on what time of the day or how to meditate?

    1. I prefer to meditate in the mornings before my day starts. However, everyone is different and you should find the best time that works for you. I have found that when you are first starting, you should start small. Trying to meditate for a half hour or more may be too much at first. Start at five minutes and work your way up. Sometimes people overthink meditation, I admit I was one of them. I recommend finding a quiet place, meditation music is optional. I feel breathing is key, deep breath in and then out. You will start to feel focused and gain more clarity.
